Patient Population: 90% newborn, 5% pediatric, 5% adolescents
Setting:
Inpatient (hospital-based)
Responsibilities: 24-hour call coverage, attending deliveries, rounding on newborns and pediatric inpatients, procedures such as circumcisions and interpreting x-rays
Required Procedures: X-ray interpretation, circumcisions; UVC/UAC highly preferred
EMR System:
Not specified
Support Staff:
Medical students may observe during newborn rounds
Days Per Month:
Based on availability April 30 May 2, May 13, June 1
On-Call/Weekends:
Yes 30-minute response time required
Submission Requirements:
Ohio State Medical License REQUIRED
BLS REQUIRED
NRP REQUIRED
Newborn experience REQUIRED
X-ray interpretation REQUIRED
Circumcision REQUIRED
Board certified preferred; board eligible within five years of residency considered
