Client Service Representative (Part-Time Float)

Overview

Old Fort Banking Company is an employee‑owned and operated financial institution, and a privately held subsidiary of Gillmor Financial Services, Inc. Established in 1916, the bank is headquartered in Tiffin, Ohio and serves clients and communities across nine financial centers. The company values strong relationships with clients and highly regards client service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • 20‑25 hours per week.
  • Schedule varies between Monday – Friday 8:15 am to 5:15 pm, rotating Saturdays 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.
  • Deliver a unique client experience aimed at improving client financial wellbeing and creating loyalty.
  • Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle transactions efficiently and accurately, including account deposits and withdrawals, cash verification, and endorsements of checks.
  • Accept loan payments, issue money orders, cashier checks, traveler checks, foreign currency, cash advances and U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Process all transactions within authorized limits, including check‑cashing limits, and obtain manager approval on required transactions.
  • Identify opportunities through meaningful conversations with clients and make appropriate referrals to consumer and commercial bankers.
Requirements
  • Excellent client service and communication skills, able to interact with a variety of bank clients.
  • Previous cash handling experience is beneficial.
  • Proficient computer skills, including keyboard, ten‑key pad, and basic ability to access bank‑wide systems.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and written or verbal instructions from manager.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
