Job DetailsSTARTING RATE: $17.00 (no certificate upon hire) / $18.00 (certified upon hire)
Essential Functions- Engage individuals in recovery through outreach and ongoing support, including those who may be hard to reach or hesitant to seek help.
- Build trusted relationships by listening empathetically and offering consistent, compassionate peer support.
- Support client‑directed recovery planning by helping clients transition from professional treatment to individualized wellness plans.
- Provide recovery education and coaching, including information on stages of recovery, coping strategies, and navigating daily challenges.
- Connect clients to critical resources such as recovery housing, employment, healthcare, support groups, and 12‑step programs.
- Collaborate with treatment providers to reinforce clinical services and encourage sustained recovery through one‑on‑one and group support.
- Correctional Facilities – Provide peer support to individuals preparing for re‑entry; assist with recovery planning and linkages to post‑release services.
- Recovery Housing – Support clients in building sober routines and accessing resources for employment, health, and daily living.
- Specialty Courts – Help participants meet court requirements, attend court and treatment appointments, and stay engaged in recovery.
- Outpatient Programs – Work alongside clinical teams to reinforce treatment goals and provide peer‑led recovery support.
