Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of the company under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy services to patients consistent with established standards of practice and company procedures.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility/facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines, including HIPAA and resident rights.
  • Establish facility-specific procedures in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and train all therapy staff.
  • Ensure therapists provide services in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards of practice, company policies, and productivity standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and billing of therapy services.
  • Communicate and interact professionally with patients and family members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position.
Education & Requirements
  • Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.
  • Active licensure (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in a state of practice.
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.
  • Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
