• Merchandising:
  Monitor and ensure product areas are stocked, rotated and displayed to ensure freshness, appeal and easy customer access. Comply with company guidelines for maximizing sales, profitability and customer service by ensuring all grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly. Complete build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise. Maintain inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, stocking merchandise according to schematic.
  
  Validate deliveries by verifying invoices; review discrepancies with Store Manager; deliver outdated merchandise to Store Manager to ensure what the store is being charged matches what was delivered. Prepare displays by assembling, dating and price marking in-store displays.
• Customer Satisfaction:
  Provide prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner. Greet customers as they enter the area and thank customers as they leave. Resolve routine customer concerns within established guidelines. Report to work on time and follow dress and appearance code.
• Facility Condition:
  Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Sweep and mop or clean floors; dust and/or wash windows, counters, displays, store areas and bathrooms; pick up and dispose of trash, litter or debris; inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; clean/check equipment including coffee machines, beverage, ice or other refrigeration units, and other machines, tools and work aids used.
• Administrative:
  Attend job-related meetings; assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits; maintain intradepartmental workflow, foster teamwork; perform duties with minimal supervision; provide regular and predictable onsite attendance; perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• Minimum age 18 years old. High school diploma or GED preferred. Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled, including arriving on time. Ability to communicate information clearly. Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) preferred. Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.

• Exposure to temperature extremes (cold or warm) in walk-in cooler/freezer and outdoors. Occasionally lift/carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and up to 50 pounds from ground to waist. Reach, grasp and manipulate objects; push/pull up to 20 pounds; reach overhead; bend and twist at waist; stand/walk for entire shift. May require climbing a ladder. Ability to operate a cash register or computer keyboard.
  
  Visual and auditory requirements to perform tasks.

• Approximately 95% indoors; may clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage. Exposure to extreme cold and occasional noise. Work with minimal direction and periodic supervision.
