Commercial Roofing Foreman

Overview

JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company, was established in 1970 and has built its business on doing what’s right for our customers within the expected time frame, with lasting quality. With over 80 employees and a management team with more than 100 years of experience, we are looking for a Commercial Roofing Foreman at our Tiffin, OH location.

• Attend training meetings per management’s request.
• Perform job set‑up and oversee small jobs.
• Communicate with customers and maintain good working relationships.
• Apply detail drawings and specifications.
• Understand warranty terms and requirements for installing warranty work.
• Acquire basic knowledge of associated sheet metal (drip edge, gravel stop, coping, counter flashings, terminations).
• Complete all jobs and prepare for inspection.
• Communicate with Project Manager regarding scope expansions, enhancements, or design changes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background check; must not be afraid of heights and be able to position extension ladder for roof inspection/survey.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks daily through completion with strong attention to detail.
• Represent the company professionally, promoting the organization positively and productively.
• Critical skills include planning & organizing, problem identification/resolution, multi‑tasking, follow‑through, and a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
