Lecturer of Biology at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

Location:

Tifton, GA – Full‑time, regular, 10‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty position.

The Department of Science and Mathematics is seeking a qualified lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in the Bachelor of Science in Biology program and to support non‑major science and pre‑nursing coursework. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education, mentoring, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

• Teach general biology, environmental science, and associated laboratory courses.
• Deliver courses in comparative anatomy and physiology and may develop upper‑level courses in the teacher’s area of expertise.
• Participate in teaching, research, and service activities within the Department of Science and Mathematics.
• Maintain laboratory instruction, preparation, and equipment as required.
• Mentor undergraduate research and foster a supportive learning environment.

• Master’s degree in biology or a closely related field.
• Specialization in animal or human anatomy and physiology preferred.
• Experience in laboratory instruction and a strong commitment to undergraduate education.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; collaborative mindset.
