Manufacturing Engineer I – Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration
Location: Tifton, GA (100% Onsite)
Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer I assists in the planning and designing of basic manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. This role supports the development of new methods, materials, and processes to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities- Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations.
- Conduct analyses or tests of routine complexity related to new methods, materials, processes, or standards and provide recommendations.
- Prepare plans, process specifications, procedures, production aids, assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, and factory cost work standards.
- Assign work to drafters and technicians as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Familiarity with analytical methods and CAD software.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles for precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This is a salaried exempt role with an annual base salary range of $64,000 - $84,000
. Employees may also receive an annual bonus as per the company plan. Overtime is not eligible for this position.
