- Conduct mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures on patients, following established protocols and safety measures.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images, ensuring patient comfort and proper radiation safety precautions.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret mammography images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Accurately document and maintain patient records, including medical histories, examination results, and any other pertinent information.
- Educate and communicate with patients about mammography procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, including maintaining knowledge of current guidelines and best practices in mammography.
