IT Support Technician - PC Maintenance

Seeking an IT Support Technician with expertise in PC maintenance to join our team and help maintain our computer systems and user support services.

The IT Support Technician will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. This role involves supporting user accounts, installing hardware and software, and collaborating with vendors to ensure system functionality.

• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Perform routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software, hardware, or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service when necessary.
• Install computer hardware, software, and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• Assist in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as needed.
• Facilitate and conduct training sessions for employees on software and hardware systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software, hardware, and PC operating systems preferred.
