This position is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while providing legendary customer service.

• No prior experience required; retail and pet knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Knowledge of pets and live animals is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

• Indoor environment with moderate noise levels.
• Hard surfaces in store and outdoor areas; adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety guidelines.

• Non-sedentary role requiring movement throughout the store and outdoor areas.
• Ability to lift or reach merchandise overhead and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and operate store equipment.
• Ability to complete training and certification requirements.
