The Salesclerk Floater is a versatile and reliable team member responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and supporting daily store operations at various retail locations as assigned. This role requires flexibility to travel to different stores on short notice to cover employee absences, vacations, or high-volume periods. The ideal candidate has a strong sales and customer service background, is a quick learner, and can adapt to different teams and environments.

• Provide sales and customer service support:
  Assist customers in multiple retail settings with purchases, product selection, and general inquiries.
• Process transactions:
  Accurately and efficiently operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle various payment methods.
• Maintain the sales floor:
  Restock merchandise, arrange displays, and ensure a clean, tidy, and organized shopping environment at each location.
• Assist with inventory management:
  Support inventory counts, receive new merchandise, and help stock and price products as needed.
• Assist with website maintenance:
  Support website management by ensuring all merchandise includes product photos and is available for online purchase.
• Open and close stores:
  Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and balancing, as needed.
• Communicate effectively:
  Maintain clear and positive communication with managers and team members at all assigned locations.
• Support special projects:
  Assist with special events, new product launches, seasonal promotions, and campus events.
• Support café operations as assigned:
  Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, and light food items while following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Maintain café cleanliness:
  Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, dining areas, and beverage preparation areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor café inventory:
  Restock coffee, beverage supplies, food items, and café merchandise, and notify supervisors when inventory levels are low.
• Provide exceptional café customer service:
  Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in a customer-facing sales, retail, or coffee shop/café position is required. Experience with POS systems is a plus.
