Advanced Security Technician
Mobile Communications America (MCA) seeks an experienced Advanced Security Technician in Tifton, GA to support our fast-growing security division.

Responsibilities- Install and service physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and other low‑voltage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Work as a valued team member on projects/installations, delivering quality results to customers.
- Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements.
- Collaborate with trades and subcontractors on projects.
- Lead smaller projects/installations.
- Minimum 2+ years experience installing and servicing enterprise‑level physical security systems (access controls, CCTV, intrusion, etc.).
- Proficient in device installation, head‑end equipment, cabling, and network integration.
- Basic understanding of networking and programming.
- Ability to oversee and train others on device installation.
- Demonstrated ability to use test equipment to verify installations.
- Skill in troubleshooting basic issues across various enterprise‑level systems.
- Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; utilize protective equipment. Lift up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, operate motor vehicles. On‑call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift Monday‑Friday with occasional 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends depending on project schedules.
Travel RequirementsTravel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
