Newly available Accounting Manager opportunity with long standing local organization. This leadership opportunity is ideal for someone with strong mentorship skills who is ready to step into leadership. In this role, you’ll have oversight of Accounting functions and direct the activities of a small team. As the best fit for this role, you should bring a wide breadth of G/L and month end close experience.

We’re also looking for someone with a “coach and player” mindset.

Compensation: $,000 base

Location: On site role in the Greater Tigard area

• Oversight and guidance of Accounting and Finance functions including AP, AR, General Ledger and month end close process
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
• Mentorship and development of staff
• Process improvement and development initiatives

• 5+ years of overarching experience, 2+ years in a similar role
• Strong mentorship or leadership abilities to help develop existing staff
• Experience with Property Management software.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area is nice to have
