Primary FunctionResponsible for performing radiological studies on patients, as ordered by physicians, using proper techniques to ensure the quality of the images. Works under the direction of the Radiologist and with direct supervision of the Radiology Manager. Performs a variety of technical and aseptic procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- PACS, EHR and other computer programs
- Radiographic Equipment
- CD Burner
- Film printer
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program, consisting of a 2‑4 year educational program, including an Associate of Applied Science degree.
- Must be ARRT certified in Radiography and possess valid Oregon license. That status must be maintained via CME throughout employment period.
- CPR certification
- Basic understanding of infection control
- Legalities of charting and telephone conversations

- Proficiency in charting and documentation

- Oral communication skills and excellent phone etiquette with an ability to convey and receive information via the telephone
- Competency in language, grammar, and spelling
- Ability to interact and establish a good rapport with people over the telephone and in person, often in stressful situations
- Capability of effectively working on more than one task without a reduction in the quality of work and service performed
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations and to work under pressure
- Ability to accept responsibility and use initiative to proceed with necessary tasks without direct supervision
