Job Type: Full‑time
DescriptionWe seek a dedicated Lead Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living, following individualized medication and treatment plans. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to high‑quality care.

- Oversee medication administration, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Train and mentor staff on medication management best practices
- Ensure breaks are taken as assigned
- Collaborate with Health and Wellness Director to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor residents' responses to medications, reporting any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care activities
- Order and receive medication
- Conduct audits of medication storage and handling to ensure compliance
- Review medication administration records and report errors to the HWD
- Provide education and support to residents and families about medication management
- Assist Resident Care Coordinator with scheduling as needed
- Prioritize independence and provide emotional support through engagement and companionship
- Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self‑administration, per care plan
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
- At least two years of experience administering medications in a caregiving setting
- Experience with memory care preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and high integrity
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotations
$23–$25 DOE
