Our client is seeking a motivated, junior-level Help Desk Technician (Tier
1) to provide frontline technical support across a growing, multi-site environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping users, learning new systems, and gaining hands‑on experience with both hardware and software support. The position supports a high‑volume user base in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented setting and offers strong opportunities for growth.

This role is a hybrid model in Tigard, Oregon.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests, resolving issues directly or escalating when appropriate.
  • Provide a mix of onsite hardware support and remote help desk assistance for end users.
  • Troubleshoot and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VoIP phones, and related peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, access, and password resets using Active Directory and related systems.
  • Support device setup and deployment, including Windows devices and iPads using MDM tools.
  • Track, document, and resolve incidents using a ticketing system while maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and deployments.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge articles in a shared knowledge base.
  • Support inventory tracking for hardware, devices, and replacement parts.
  • Communicate system issues, maintenance activities, and outages to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule to support users across multiple time zones, including early morning shifts.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of hands‑on help desk or technical support experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support users in a high‑volume ticketing environment.
  • Experience using a ticketing system (Managed Engine preferred; Jira or Zendesk acceptable).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user and account management.
  • Exposure to VoIP phone systems;
    Ring Central experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience supporting Windows devices via SCCM and iOS devices via Jamf Pro is preferred.
  • Comfort setting up and supporting iPads and mobile devices using MDM software.
  • Working knowledge of IT documentation tools such as Confluence or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of networks, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a technical support environment.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including early start times to support Mountain Time users.
Compensation

$25-$26/hr. (DOE)
