What you’ll be doing- Delivering parts to our customers with a passion for building relationships.
- Picking up parts from vendors, ensuring the stock room is accurately stocked and inventory is maintained.
- Consistently focusing on safety while driving and delivering parts.
- Serving as a NAPA Brand Ambassador when meeting customers during deliveries.
- Building long‑term relationships with the customers you deliver to.
- Maintaining the delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, keeping the vehicle clean, and completing basic maintenance (e.g., correct tire pressure).
- Performing other duties as needed.
- You work independently, enjoy driving safely, and engage with customers face to face.
- You take pride in your work and focus on safety and reliability each day.
- You thrive in a fast‑moving environment where no two days are the same.
- You are a student or retired and want a flexible schedule.
- Ability to bend to floor‑level shelves and reach upper shelves (up to eight feet), using a stool or ladder when necessary and stamina to stand, walk throughout the shift, and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Skill in handling cash, charge transactions, and processing returns accurately.
- Experience maintaining a distribution log or tracking system for deliveries and pickups.
- Knowledge of inspecting, protecting, and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, and facilities.
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive throughout the metropolitan area using maps.
- Flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
