Warehouse Associate (Order Selector) – Portland

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‑temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

As a subsidiary of GSF, QCD specializes in tailored solutions for selected food‑service industry customers. Headquarters in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants across the United States, providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 distribution centers and driving more than 40 million miles annually. QCD associates also help run the national non‑profit GSF Foundation.

• Safely operate material‑handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (forklift certification required)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high‑traffic warehouse areas
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Read labels, count product, and complete order paperwork
• Support team with cleaning and additional duties as needed

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading / math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

• Night Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Full time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: −5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 4‑day work week
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

• $23.71 /hour + $1 / hour differential for working Friday‑Sunday
• Union role
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
