Within the Invoicing & Settlements team, it is all about understanding figures, investigating discrepancies and turning ideas into tangible improvements: you’re on it.
How you do this? As a junior controller within Invoicing & Settlements, you combine financial control with analysis and project-based improvements. You look beyond the day-to-day activities, investigate where processes are getting stuck and have the freedom to suggest your own solutions. You achieve this by:
- analysing and resolving discrepancies in automatically settled shipments;
- checking sales and purchase invoices for accuracy and completeness;
- performing cost calculations and preparing invoices for non-automated rates;
- identifying recurring bottlenecks and contributing ideas for process improvements, for example through Excel or automation;
- liaising with colleagues and customers in the Netherlands and abroad regarding invoice-related queries.
Your team stands out within DSV for its open and collaborative atmosphere. You work together with colleagues based in Tilburg and Ede. There is daily contact with various warehouses, and the team aligns on the workload together every morning. You will receive strong guidance from experienced colleagues and plenty of opportunities to develop yourself.

You bring- bachelor education level of working and thinking, with no specific field of study required;
- an affinity with controlling, analysis and financial processes;
- strong analytical skills and the ability to translate figures into clear conclusions;
- good Excel skills and an interest in systems, data and automation;
- energy, enthusiasm and the determination to get fully involved in a project;
- a good command of both Dutch and English.
