WMS Solutions Architect

What you can expect  Are you an expert in WMS solutions and eager to play a key role in shaping the architecture of logistics systems at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions? Join us as our Blue Yonder Solution Architect!
Your Challenge  As a  Blue Yonder Solution Architect , you ensure that WMS solutions within the North-West Europe region align seamlessly with the architectural principles of the Global Competence Center. You will be the driving force behind the further development of the Rhenus WMS Core and coach both functional and technical WMS consultants to elevate their skills.
What will you do?
Collaborate with the Manager of Projects and Business Development teams from multiple countries to deliver the best possible WMS solutions.
Advise customers and internal stakeholders on WMS requirements and sustainable IT solutions.
Review projects, promote learning, and drive the development of standardized functionalities and technical building blocks.
Ensure high-quality and standardized WMS configurations within the Rhenus Core structure.
Monitor WMS system installations and oversee high-quality technical integrations.
Design and implement innovative projects, such as mechanization and robotization.
Provide functional and technical support to project teams, ensuring quality assurance.
Train and mentor junior consultants while providing training sessions for IT and logistics professionals.
Contribute to the professionalization of IT policies, processes, and tools within Rhenus.
Represent Rhenus in Blue Yonder customer communication groups.
You report to the  Head of the Regional Implementation Center NW  and are part of the  regional global team .

What you bring   A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, IT, or 10 years of experience in the logistics industry.
5-10 years of experience with complex WMS projects, including implementations, integrations, and migrations.
Experience in designing and implementing complex WMS solutions within an international supply chain environment.
Knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS (or similar systems such as Manhattan or SAP) and its technical components.
Proven experience as an integration architect with systems such as WCS, TMS, and ERP.
Strong communication and leadership skills: you easily connect with both warehouse staff and senior management.
An assertive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of convincing both internal and external stakeholders of the best solutions.
