We are recruiting on behalf of an international industrial service organization specializing in the rental and support of temporary technical installations across Europe.

This is a highly dynamic service organization where no two days are the same and where you play a key role in keeping complex industrial systems running across multiple European sites.

Your role
As an  International Field Service Engineer , you are responsible for the  installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of steam, hot water, and thermal systems  at customer sites across Europe.

You will work on project-based assignments from preparation through execution and final handover, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performance operation of temporary industrial installations.

This is a hands‑on, international role with significant autonomy, technical depth, and travel across Europe.

Key responsibilities

Support preparation and execution of technical rental projects across Europe

Install, commission, and decommission steam, hot water, and thermal systems

Perform advanced troubleshooting and technical fault finding

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites and service hubs

Create and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures

Act as the main technical point of contact for specialized systems

Collaborate with international engineering and service teams

Provide hands‑on training and technical guidance to local technicians

Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation after onboarding period

Your profile

Technical education (MBO+/HBO or equivalent through experience)

Proven experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or service engineering

Strong advantage: experience with steam systems, boilers, or thermal/heating systems

Hands‑on, independent, and solution‑oriented mindset

Strong communication skills in English

Comfortable working with MS Office and CRM systems

Valid driving license (B)

Willingness to travel extensively across Europe

Willingness to participate in a 24/7 service rotation
