Job Summary
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end inbound logistics process to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of raw materials. Are you ready to take ownership of inbound logistics and ensure seamless delivery to support uninterrupted production?
Where You’ll Make a DifferenceManage end-to-end inbound logistics processes to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of raw materials. Monitor inbound shipments, track estimated and actual times of arrival (ETA/ATA), and ensure timely delivery to support uninterrupted operations. Manage inbound purchase orders and proactively resolve delayed or overdue shipments to maintain supply chain continuity. Coordinate transport activities with logistics providers (3PL/4PL), prioritizing urgent shipments to minimize disruptions.
Coordinate deliveries from port or terminal to the plant, aligned with warehouse capacity and receiving schedules. Ensure timely customs clearance by coordinating with brokers and customs teams. Act as a central point of contact between planning teams, warehouse operations, and logistics providers to ensure alignment. Validate freight-related costs against rate agreements and support cost optimization initiatives. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through service level reviews and feedback.
Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of Incoterms and different transport modes
- Experience with SAP and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify risks
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and structured approach
- Experience working with 3PL/4PL providers in an international environment
- High level of resilience and ability to manage urgent situations
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and optimization
