• Provide classroom support under the direction of class teachers and the SENCo, adapting and planning activities for students.
• Lead small‑group provision and interventions for SEND pupils, supporting their emotional and social development.
• Observe and document students’ progress, writing up reports to inform teaching and evaluation of individual needs.
• Identify pupils or groups that may be falling behind and advocate proactive strategies to support them.
• Use initiative to assist with behaviour management and classroom activities, ensuring a positive learning environment.

• Maths and English GCSE grades A‑C or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with additional needs and challenging behaviours.
• Excellent classroom support skills in literacy, numeracy and behavioural management.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of ICT.
• Commitment to high achievement for students and personal professional development.
