About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our clients team in Tilbury. This is a full-time, on‑site position within a fast‑paced, global logistics environment.

The successful candidate will support the coordination of day‑to‑day logistics operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods while delivering a high level of service to customers and internal stakeholders. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency across transport, warehousing, and administration functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics activities, including transport scheduling and shipment monitoring
  • Act as a point of contact for customer and warehouse queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Prepare, process, and maintain logistics documentation and records
  • Support warehouse operations through effective communication and coordination
  • Raise, check, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with relevant transport, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a time‑sensitive environment
  • Support month‑end activities, requiring flexibility with working hours when needed
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident dealing with customers and internal operational teams
  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain essential
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with administrative and logistics systems
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
