Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Class 2 truck, delivering goods efficiently and reliably to various locations. Your expertise in commercial driving and delivery will ensure our customers receive their orders on time while maintaining the highest safety standards.

• Safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle, adhering to all road safety and traffic regulations at all times
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations
• Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered during routes
• Follow all company policies related to health and safety, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and others

• Monday - Friday
• 05:00 am starts (8-10 hour days)
• Temp-Perm
• No weekends
• £18.75 per hour

• Valid HGV 2 (Class
  
  C) license with no more than 6 penalty points
• Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with delivery operations
• Familiarity with flatbed transportation and securing loads safely during transit
• Strong understanding of driving regulations and road safety protocols
• Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo when necessary
• Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
