Production Operator

Overview

Production Operator (Tilton, NH) – 3M is looking for a candidate who can transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. The role allows you to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by working with heavy lifting, vehicle loading, heights, and industrial truck operation.

• Not limited to heavy lifting and moving of materials.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.
• May involve working at heights and heavy lifting of 30 pounds or more.
• May also require the operation of industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location.
• Requires forklift certification.

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• One (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

• Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Package, MES knowledge.
• Understanding of Lean Management Systems, and lean tools.

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.79. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
