LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT I-III / LMNAS - BAYLORS
New Hampshire Veterans Home, 139 Winter St, Tilton, NH 03276
Base pay range: $19.24/hr – $34.32/hr additional hourly differentials: $4.00 for 2nd & 3rd shift, $2.00 for weekends. Direct care up to $10.00/week.
Schedules:
Weekend Baylors – Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday;
Weekday Baylors – Schedules vary; rotating weekends. Shift times include 2:30 am–3:00 pm, 2:30 pm–3:00 am and 2:30 am–3:30 pm, 2:30 pm–3:30 pm.
Under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff, provide essential support and direct care to residents by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable, and enriching environment.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Use equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure resident comfort and dignity.
- Document care, monitor vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms and common areas.
- Mentor new nursing assistants (LNA II & III) and provide guidance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NH Nursing Assistant license.
- Driver’s license.
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting, transferring, and transporting residents.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Experience in long‑term or geriatric care setting.
- Experience as a practicing Licensed Nursing Assistant.
- Strong communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
