Junior Staff Accountant

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Client in Timmins, Ontario. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits

The successful individual should be detail oriented, motivated who focus will be to execute billing processes in a timely, accurate manner. This position will expand into broader accounting responsibilities, offering career growth within.

• Preparing, generating, and distributing customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitoring accounts receivable and resolving billing discrepancies
• Reconciliation: billing data with contracts, sales records and accounting systems.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assisting with monthly close activities, including reconciliation and journal entries as needed.
• Support the accounting team in preparing reports, schedules and documentations for audits and reviews.
• Other duties could include additional accounting responsibilities such as accruals, expense analysis and financial reporting in the future.

• Previous related experience with accounting duties
• Education related to Finance, Accounting or other relevant programs
• Must live or willing and able to relocate to the Timmins, ON area
