Join Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services as a Contract Accounting Technician based in Timmins, ON. This role focuses on accounts payable, invoice processing, and month-end closings for up to six months.
As a Contract Accounting Technician, you will manage supplier invoices, verify details, and ensure timely payments. You’ll code invoices, maintain audit trails, and support collections activities while collaborating with various departments. Your attention to detail and solid accounting knowledge will help streamline financial operations at KCFS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and process supplier invoices accurately
• Code invoices to appropriate accounts and projects
• Support payment runs and vendor communications
• Maintain organized documentation and audit trails
• Conduct reconciliations for various accounts
Requirements:
• Three-year Accounting Diploma from an accredited college
• 2-5 years of accounting support experience
• Knowledge of AP, AR, and GL
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid Ontario Driver's licence required
