Senior Accounting Technician at MNP

In this full-time role, you will apply your expertise to administer bookkeeping cycles and manage payroll processes. Your contributions will involve preparing essential tax documents and ensuring compliance with regulatory filings. As a key team member, you will also mentor junior staff, maintain GL accounts, and troubleshoot discrepancies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer full cycle bookkeeping for MNP clients

• Prepare T4s, T5s, and payroll filings

• Support and train junior bookkeeping team members

• Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes

• Liaise with clients regarding administrative matters

Requirements:

• Diploma in business administration or accounting is an asset

• Three years of full cycle bookkeeping experience

• Proficient in cloud accounting software like QBO or Xero

• Familiarity with Quick Books Desktop and Sage 50

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
