Discovery, a major player in the precious metals sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to handle payments and reconciliations efficiently. This role demands proficiency in financial transactions, effective communication, and collaboration with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy and adherence to controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually process PO and non-PO based invoices

• Reconcile vendor statements and invoices

• Assist in processing authorized cheques and payments

• Participate in month-end reconciliation activities

• Administer cash forecasts for treasury management

Requirements:

• Business Degree or Diploma, or equivalent experience

• Relevant experience in Accounts Payable

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Mincom/Coupa

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Capability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
