Position: Accounting Technician Role at MNP
Become a part of MNP's ease Cloud Accounting Services as a Senior Accounting Technician. This full-time, on-site role in Timmins emphasizes bookkeeping, payroll tasks, and client relations.

You will be responsible for overseeing full cycle bookkeeping and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. This role includes preparing key tax documents and providing essential support to junior team members. As a trusted advisor, you'll work to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive client relationships at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle bookkeeping for a variety of clients

• Prepare payroll and related government filings

• Support junior staff with training and guidance

• Conduct month-end and quarter-end closing activities

• Liaise with clients for administrative assistance

Requirements:

• Certificate or diploma in accounting or business is advantageous

• Minimum of three years in bookkeeping roles

• Proficiency in cloud software like QBO or Xero preferred

• Experience with Quick Books Desktop and Sage 50 beneficial

• Solid understanding of accounting processes
