Position: Timmins Underground Miner 2 Role

As a key player in Discovery's operational success, your extensive mining experience will support our ongoing commitment to local communities. This role necessitates a blend of practical skills and certification in underground processes. You will manage essential construction tasks, operate heavy machinery, and implement safety protocols across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute timbering, infrastructure installation, and steel work underground

• Operate a variety of mining and construction equipment

• Interpret and apply mining and construction blueprints

• Install and manage air, water, and paste line services

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High School Diploma along with certificates in relevant mining skills

• Five years of mining experience, three in a construction role

• Licensed to operate diverse underground equipment

• Skilled in rigging and infrastructure projects

• Previous shaft maintenance experience considered an asset
