Experienced Excavator Operator

Position: Experienced Excavator Operator for MCA Contracting Ltd.
MCA Contracting Ltd. is hiring an Experienced Excavator Operator with a focus on top-notch grade work. Operate across Northern Ontario and tackle challenging projects that require precision and skill.

This position emphasizes accuracy in grading, shaping, and finishing work while working around complex environments like bridge sites and roadways. An essential aspect of this role includes the ability to undertake regular out-of-town assignments. Strong coordination and teamwork will be key in maintaining project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, dozers, and loaders for site preparation

• Conduct accurate grading, leveling, and finishing work

• Work competently around utilities and traffic setups

• Read and interpret plans while performing equipment inspections

• Maintain effective communication with site supervisors and crew

Requirements:

• Significant experience as an Excavator Operator

• Willingness to travel for assignments across Northern Ontario

• Ability to interpret grade stakes and site plans

• Experience in maintaining safety and environmental standards

• Conduct equipment maintenance and logs routinely
