: 10 - 12 Hour shifts, depending on the site schedule Wage
: $62.50 - $73.00/HR

About the Role:

As a Construction Supervisor with Dumas, you will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and site requirements. You will lead crews, coordinate resources, and monitor work progress while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage work in fast paced industrial and mining environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules and production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory safety standards and procedures.
  • Conduct pre shift meetings, safety briefings, and hazard assessments.
  • Monitor work quality and productivity, and address performance or safety concerns as required.
  • Communicate regularly with project management, safety personnel, and site representatives.
  • Maintain accurate records including daily reports, inspections, and incident documentation.
  • Assist with planning work sequences, manpower requirements, and equipment needs.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to crew members to maintain a strong safety culture.
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of construction, mining, or industrial experience.
  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience in construction or mining environments.
  • Valid Ontario Supervisor Common Core certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
  • Experience coordinating crews and managing work in active industrial or mining environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, work plans, and project schedules.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven commitment to safety and strong safety record.
