Job SummarySupervision Monitors provide general supervision and monitoring of students during nutrition breaks, recess, departure, and arrival times, both indoors and outdoors.

Education Requirements- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with school aged children
- Demonstrate care and concern for the safety of all students.
- Ability to keep your attention to the safety of the students
- Promptness and dependability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team in cooperation with the school staff.
- Willingness to address disciplinary issues and to report them to administration.
- Ability to treat all students in a respectful, responsible, and fair manner.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate responses to student‑initiated interactions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality as the norm in all issues related to students, parents, and school.
- Physically able to perform duties outside in all forms of weather.
- Physically able to climb stairs and walk distances during supervision.
- First aid and CPR an asset.
- Monitor and assist with arrival and departure of students during bus duty.
- Organize students upon arrival and departure in an orderly manner.
- Monitor outside yard duty during all recess periods.
- Supervise hallways, classroom, and bathroom checks.
- Monitor classrooms/lunch areas during breaks.
- Monitor students in designated areas during inclement weather.
- Ensure adherence to all school safety protocols.
- Always ensure the security and safety of students.
- Address disciplinary issues and report any concerns regarding student behaviour to the Principal/Vice Principal.
- Seek out Principal/Vice Principal guidance when required.
$20.64 per hour.
