The District School Board Ontario North East is seeking a dedicated Home Instruction Teacher to work three hours each week. Candidates must possess Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation, along with Intermediate and Special Education qualifications. Help elevate student learning in this pivotal role starting as soon as possible and extending until June 25, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized instruction to students in their homes
• Develop tailored lesson plans based on individual needs
• Foster a supportive learning environment
• Communicate progress to parents and guardians
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation
• Intermediate qualifications are mandatory
• Special Education qualifications required
• Criminal Background Check with vulnerable Sector Screening
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
