WSP is looking for an accomplished Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer based in Quebec. With over ten years of experience in overhead high voltage design, you’ll play a key role in transforming Canada’s energy landscape. This senior-level position involves leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining robust client relationships to ensure successful project delivery in a changing energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and management of high voltage transmission projects
• Review and prepare engineering plans and construction specs
• Conduct internal and external quality reviews
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure project success
• Facilitate business development and proposal efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of ten years in transmission design and engineering
• Proficient in key design software (PLS-CADD, AutoCAD)
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) certification
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities
