Superintendent, Geology

• Lead and develop the site geology team, setting clear expectations, supporting performance, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
• Oversee grade control, production geology, and orebody interpretation to optimize ore recovery and minimize dilution.
• Establish and implement geological strategies, standards, and processes aligned with mine planning and operational objectives.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of geological data, models, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with mine planning and operations teams to support short- and long-term production targets and schedules.
• Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning for geology activities, ensuring cost‑effective and efficient delivery of services.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and act as or support the Qualified Person for resource reporting where applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including technology adoption, data systems, and geological processes to enhance operational performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) designation or eligibility is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in mining geology, including open pit operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory or superintendent‑level role within mining operations.

• Strategic Leadership – Ability to lead teams and align geological activities with operational and business objectives.
• Technical Expertise – Strong understanding of grade control, orebody modeling, and production geology practices.
• Data & Analytical Skills – Proven ability to interpret geological data and drive informed decision‑making.
• Collaboration & Communication – Effective at working cross‑functionally with operations, technical services, and leadership teams.
