Mill Maintenance Assistant Superintendent

Elevate your engineering career as an Assistant Superintendent, Mill Maintenance at Agnico Eagle. Oversee maintenance activities while ensuring safety and efficiency at the Macassa Mine site.

As part of the Mill Maintenance Team, you will report directly to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent. This role requires strong leadership expertise, experience in process plant operations, and knowledge of maintenance strategies for fixed plants. You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing metallurgical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate mill maintenance activities effectively

• Monitor key metrics and implement performance improvements

• Develop maintenance strategies for plant and electrical systems

• Manage maintenance teams and foster employee development

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field

• 8 years of experience in process plant operations

• At least 3 years in a senior supervisory role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Strong project management and leadership skills
