About The Role
We are actively seeking 2 Mechanical Engineers-in-Training to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems across the processing plant, mobile maintenance team and project teams. This developmental role provides structured rotations and mentorship to build technical expertise, safety leadership, and project management skills, preparing the EIT for P.Eng licensure and future leadership roles.
Responsibilities- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities for mechanical systems.
- Assist with mechanical project work, including design reviews, installations, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with mechanical codes, LOTO procedures, and site safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports and keep drawings, diagrams, and maintenance records updated.
- Assist with project engineering tasks such as calculations, drawings, take‑offs, and tender scopes.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and field teams to track progress, resolve technical issues, and support reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Eligible to work towards a P. Eng Certification in Ontario.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficiency with data analysis tools and MS Office.
- Ability to break down complex issues and develop practical solutions under pressure.
- Clear and concise reporting of technical findings; ability to present to multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to rotate through multiple areas and learn new technologies.

Salary Range: $70,800‑$97,400
