Lake Shore Gold is looking for a Principal Resource Geologist to join its Exploration Site team in Timmins. In this vital role, you will supervise the Resource Geology team while overseeing the execution of mineral resource estimations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your contributions will shape strategies involving long-term mining plans and coordinate efforts across departments for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead annual mineral resource documentation and calculations

• Supervise Resource Geology and Database teams

• Ensure quality governance of block models

• Support LOM planning with engineering and production

• Create geological models and carry out resource estimations
Requirements:

• University degree in Geoscience; current APGO membership

• Minimum 10 years' experience in gold mining

• Knowledge of 3D geological modeling software

• Strong focus on safety practices

• Effective communication and mentoring abilities
