Position: Mining Engineer In Training at Dumas

Based out of the Timmins office, the Mining Engineer In Training will report to the Manager of Estimating Services. You will create capital cost estimates, define project methodologies, and ensure projects align with company growth objectives. This entry-level position welcomes co-op participants and recent graduates, providing a platform for valuable experience in estimating and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend site visits to gather essential data for estimates

• Define scope of work and review project documentation

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from first principles

• Collaborate with departments for pricing analyses

• Ensure timely submission of bids and tender content

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent

• Registration eligibility as an EIT with PEO

• Previous underground mining experience an asset

• Proficiency with MS Office applications

• Willingness to travel as required
