Position: Timmins Full-Time Project Geologist Role
Join Lake Shore Gold as a Project Geologist in Timmins, ON, where you'll lead geoscientific efforts integral to the Vogel project’s development and production.

In this full-time role, the Project Geologist will spearhead advanced drilling programs and the initial production geology initiatives. A degree in Geoscience and 1-5 years in a gold exploration or mining environment are essential. This position involves creating drill layouts, liaising with contractors, and drafting detailed reports while adhering to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage advanced underground drill programs

• Collaborate with drill contractors and adjust operations

• Maintain detailed drill hole databases

• Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accountability

• Conduct safety inspections and compliance checks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience required

• 1-5 years' experience in gold mining or exploration

• APGO membership or eligibility required

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software considered beneficial

• Knowledge of safety practices and drill layout procedures
