In this pivotal role within WSP’s Energy team, you will utilize over 15 years of mechanical engineering design experience to pioneer projects that drive Canada’s energy transition. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design mechanical systems for power generation and renewable energy projects. Your leadership will shape the infrastructure powered by technologies such as carbon capture and battery storage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee mechanical design for power generation projects
• Conduct complex engineering analyses and calculations
• Develop system P&IDs for various technologies
• Create scopes of work for mechanical installations
• Provide technical mentoring and support to team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of relevant design experience
• Professional engineer license required
• Expertise in Caesar II or Auto Pipe software
• Familiarity with Thermoflow tools
