Position: Metallurgy Co-op Student Opportunity
Location: Kirkland Lake

Gain hands-on experience as a Metallurgy Co-op Student at Agnico Eagle. You’ll support mill and lab processes while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

As part of the Process Plant Department, you will work under the guidance of the Metallurgy Superintendent. This role requires you to conduct testing, sampling, and reporting while applying best practices within metallurgy. You’ll assist with the daily operations of the Metallurgy laboratory, ensuring a safe and effective work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily technical support for mill and lab operations

• Conduct sampling campaigns for process analysis

• Monitor and inspect process samplers

• Compile and analyze metallurgy data for optimization

• Conduct surveys for KPI validation across processes

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Metallurgy or related field

• Active participant in a Co-op program

• Strong communication and team-building skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
