Position: Senior Exploration and Geology Manager Role
Shape the future of exploration as the Senior Exploration and Geology Manager at Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, ON. Lead vital exploration initiatives while mentoring a dedicated team.
In this full-time role, you will coordinate exploration on the company’s projects, focusing on geological mapping, drilling management, and strategic budget oversight. Your leadership will be key in enhancing safety and compliance, while driving collaboration among project stakeholders and internal teams. Prepare technical reports and define exploration strategies that significantly impact resource identification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct exploration budgets and annual project strategies

• Oversee diamond drilling and geochemical sampling programs

• Improve 3D models via data interpretation and analysis

• Prepare technical documentation and management presentations

• Mentor geologists, fostering a culture of safety
Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related

• 10–15+ years in mining with supervisory experience

• Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) registration

• Knowledge of modeling software (Leapfrog, Datamine)

• Strong project management and leadership skills
