Dumas is hiring a Development Miner to undertake underground activities at the West Cache Gold Project. Responsibilities include drilling, scaling, and installing ground support, as well as effective operation of mining machinery. Strict adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with the team are required to ensure a seamless operation and meet production targets in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct underground drilling, blasting, and scaling operations

• Operate and maintain mining equipment such as jumbos and scoops

• Ensure safety compliance with all protocols

• Maintain equipment through pre-operational checks and routine maintenance

• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in underground mining development

• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner certification

• Strong familiarity with drilling and blasting methods

• Ability to work in confined and demanding setting

• Proven safety record and commitment to safe work principles
