Position: Surveying Role with Lake Shore Gold
Become an Underground Surveyor at Lake Shore Gold's Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON, with a full-time commitment on a 5-5-4 rotation. This is your chance to advance your surveying career in a dynamic mining environment.

In this role, you will take charge of all mine survey tasks, including maintaining the survey controls database and conducting essential underground void CMS. Your proficiency in Deswik will be crucial for preparing accurate survey layouts and month-end calculations, reflecting your commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily survey tasks to deliver accurate data

• Maintain control and as-builts database effectively

• Provide timely and precise markups for ongoing projects

• Perform safety-driven CMS for underground voids

• Complete check surveys to validate excavation accuracy

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma in Engineering Technology preferred

• 1-2 years of mining or industrial survey experience

• Adept with Deswik, AutoCAD, Excel, and Word

• Able to communicate effectively across teams

• Valid driver’s licence with a focus on safety
